Many variables are taken into account during this assessment to determine the proper choice for a climate-controlled cellar. There are three types of climate-controlled systems: through-the-wall, split, and ducted systems. An extensive, on-site evaluation allows us to assess your needs fully.
Wine cellars no longer need to be confined to basements. They can be incorporated into many spaces throughout the home, including the kitchen, dining room, hallways, under stairwells, and more.

If a homeowner wants to maximize bottle capacity, then components that allow bulk storage is the best direction. If the cellar is more for entertaining and visual effect, and bottle capacity is not as big of an issue, then different components are used to showcase the wine. Or if they are looking at slowly growing their wine collection, we have specific components that will expand as their collections grow.
This cost depends on the type of materials used or chosen for the build-out, the amount and quality level of wine racking, and whether or not a climate control system is needed.
More and more people are choosing to use them as a visual showpiece in their homes by adding glass doors, windows, or frameless glass across the front. They make a stunning presentation in dining rooms, kitchens, hallways, or anywhere else in a residential or commercial space.
A climate controlled cellar, when properly built, will maintain an appropriate storage temperature and a consistent humidity level ensuring the best conditions for your wine collection. A passive controlled cellar depends on room temperatures instead of climate control systems.
There are three types: ducted, split, or through-the-wall. Many variables come into play for the kind of system that would best fit the proposed wine cellar. How has the space been built out? Where in home or business will it be located? Are there concrete walls? What are the areas around the cellar? If so, are they conditioned or unconditioned spaces? Is there a mechanical room or storage room next to the cellar that can be easily accessed? Does this room have a drain? Will there be any glass doors or windows? Is it a space planned for a lot of entertaining or just occasional use? These are just some of the questions that would need to be answered.
If we are not doing the build-out, then we work with the builder and homeowner by reviewing the house plans and usually making a site visit for proper assessment before recommending the system that will best fit their wine cellar.
